30 members of the North Shore AGO enjoyed the September 2013 Meet and Greet.
An Entertaining and fun start to the Season!!
On Sunday, September 29th, approximately 30 North Shore Chapter members and friends gathered at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest for an evening of fellowship and wedding-themed stories and music. Attendees provided and enjoyed a delicious potluck dinner, then were treated to an engaging and humorous presentation of wedding anecdotes by veteran Chicago organist Morgan Simmons. The concluding portion of the event took place in the organ loft. Playing the Casavant organ, chapter members played a variety of memorable, creative, and amusing wedding pieces, sharing the “true story” behind each selection.
