Welcome to our new newsletter format!  You’ve been directed here for the July edition of OVERTONES.  Here’s what you’ll find below, which can be accessed by simply scrolling down:

  • Brochure of our 2014-15 programs
  • A review of our June 1 annual banquet and program
  • A message from our Treasurer about the ONCARD dues renewal of membership
  • A testimonial from a new board member

In addition, some information that was previously sent regularly in OVERTONES  is now readily available at any time on the website, with updates as needed.   Information on joining/renewing, our online calendar of events, substitute list, and general information about our chapter are available to anyone visiting the site.  The Member Directory and Job Listings are available to members with the newly created username and passwords that you hopefully have set up by now.  (Please contact webmaster@northshoreago.org if you have questions or concerns about that process.)

At our last board meeting, we decided to return to a monthly newsletter, so beginning in September look for your email notification that the newsletter has been posted to the website on a monthly basis.  In addition, check the Important Announcements tab on homepage of the website in between monthly newsletters for the latest news.

If you desire to have an event or job listing posted on our website, please send to webmaster@northshoreago.org  by the 5th of each month.  They will be posted on the site immediately, but notification of updates will only be sent to members on a monthly basis.

Have a wonderful summer, and we will see you all on September 21 at our opening event!

I like this quote by Martin Luther King that I recently read, “Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve." Though as a musician, we might be content to just enjoy the experience of learning and performing beautiful music, often our responsibilities entail much...
