Several reminders from the Dean this month:

  1. It’s time to vote! The Dean’s Column last month included bios of all of the candidates for office for this coming year, as well as a link to vote. Having neglected to include a deadline, it appears that we have an entire chapter of folks who need deadlines, as we’ve received very few returned ballots thus far. SO, please follow this link to vote: – by May 15, please!  And if you need a reminder as to the candidates and their bios, click here:
  2. Please make every effort to attend the service to remember and honor the life of Richard Enright at Fourth Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, May 9, 7pm. Many former students and colleagues will be attending, and there will be a reception afterward. Parking is available in the 900 N. Michigan Avenue garage with validation (ticket to be picked up at the reception desk at the church) for $6. The garage is accessible from Walton on the North and Rush on the south.
  3.  Please plan on attending our last program of the season on June 5 at 7pm at St. Giles in Northbrook; a recital entitled ‘Music in Time of War and Peace’ followed by gala champagne reception. Hear members Phillip Kloeckner, Richard Clemmitt, Alan Hommerding, Todd Gresick and Derek Nickels playing music by Cbanilles, Reger, Sweelinck, Willan, Wagner, Boely, Bedard, Philips, Alain and Vierne.
  4.  Watch for the unveiling of our exciting 60th anniversary season of programs for 2017-18 in the next Overtones.
