SUMMARY:Thunder and Wind (Organ and Percussion)
DESCRIPTION:THUNDER AND WIND – CONCERT EVENT:  The Fox Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists has invited you to attend our upcoming Concert Event – “Thunder and Wind” featuring Rhonda Sider Edgington on organ; and Carolyn Koebel on percussion.  The concert will take place on Friday\, May 9\, 2025 at 7:30 PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church\, 393 N Main St\, Glen Ellyn\, Illinois and will feature the J.W. Walker & Sons\, Ltd\, Organ (1991). \nThe program will include music for percussion and organ\, featuring Kalamazoo-based percussionist\, multi-genre and multi-instrumentalist Carolyn Koebel. The two have been performing together regularly since 2019\, and will play works by Hina Sakamoto\, Connor Chee\, Fela Sowande\, and others. Rhonda will also play solo organ works by Buxtehude\, Sweelinck\, and a number of living composers. \nA freewill offering will be received and a reception will follow the concert.
