Dunton Street\, Arlington Heights\, IL 60004\nCREATIVE HYMN PLAYING\nADAPTING PIANO MUSIC FOR THE ORGAN\nOne of our most important jobs as organists is to encourage congregational singing with hymn playing that enhances the lyrics of hymns. In this workshop you’ll find tips on doing that through phrasing\, registration\, alternate harmonizations and modulations. Secondly\, as organists\, we’re all called on frequently to play music on the organ that was written for piano\, or transcribed for piano from an orchestral score.
