DESCRIPTION:For Immediate Release\nMontreal Organ Festival: July 1-7\, 2017 \nFor over 3 years\, we have been working with collaborators from the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO)\, and the Canadian International Organ Competition (CIOC) planning our 2017 Regional Convention: The Montreal Organ Festival\, July 2-6\, with pre- and post-convention activities on July 1st and 7th. \nAll are welcome to join us for this exciting week of music and camaraderie. \nHere are a few of the reasons why you should stop whatever you are doing\, and register\, right now! \n• A selection of the finest performers of our organ and choral professions \n• A European-class city celebrating its 375th Anniversary \n• A restaurant scene and nightlife that is second-to-none \n• Unique and beautiful organs and venues \n• The spectacular new Maison Symphonique Concert Hall – (Casavant opus 3900) \n• Tours of Casavant Freres\, Juget-Sinclair\, and Orgues Létourneauorgan shops \n• Opportunities to learn from and collaborate with our Canadian colleagues \n• Celebrate Canada Day (July 1 – Canada’s 150th Birthday)\, and the 4thof July with cocktail receptions at stunning venues with panoramic views of the city skyscape. \n• The Montreal Jazz Festival \n• Wine tasting and tour of a vineyard during the post-convention day. \n________________________________________ \nThe Montreal Sheraton is conveniently located\, and venues are easily accessible on foot or by public transportation (subway/bus pass included with registration).
