April 24 Banquet & Concert

On Friday, April 24 we gathered for our annual banquet at Francesca’s in Northbrook. We enjoyed a delicious meal and had time to connect with each other throughout the evening. Results of the recent NSAGO election were announced, outgoing board members were thanked for their service to our chapter, and we welcomed our newly elected board members.

After the banquet we moved to St. Giles Episcopal Church in Northbrook where we hosted Swedish organist Hans Davidsson. The program included works by Bach, Buxtehude, Franck, Mendelssohn, Weckmann, and Widor and concluded with an encore: the Böhm “Vater unser.” Dr. Davidsson’s colorful registrations and expert execution made for an enjoyable program that showcased the Wolff organ.

Thanks to Jim Brown and the staff and vestry of St. Giles for being our host for this final program of our program year.
