On Sunday afternoon, September 27, members and friends met to make music together at a fun and informative choral reading session. We gathered at St. Augustine’s Church in Wilmette, hosted by NSAGO Treasurer, Martin Kehe. Many thanks to Martin and to our member participants who brought choral anthems to share: Jim Brown, Michael Gagne, Peggy Massello, Brian Schoettler, Chris Urban, Pat and George Radosavljevich, and Gloria Song. It was great to reconnect after a long summer to share musical inspiration.
Our repertoire for the session was:
All Flesh is Grass by Chris Massa
A New Jerusalem Arise by Kyle Pederson
Draw the Circle Wide by Mark A. Miller
God So Loved the World by Bob Chilcott
Gospel Alleluia by Michael Gagne (NSAGO Member)
No Night There by Dan Forrest
No More Night arranged by Camp Kirkland
Peace Like a River arranged by Rollo Dilworth
Turn Our Mourning Into Dancing by Brian Schoettler (NSAGO member) (purchase)
Especially if you weren’t able to join us this time, please know that we would love to have you with us for a future event!
