An Evening with Nathan Laube

The North Shore Chapter AGO and Opus 327 are proud to welcome internationally acclaimed concert organist Nathan Laube for an afternoon recital on the remarkable E.M. Skinner Opus 327 organ at St. Luke’s in Evanston.
A Grammy Award-winning artist and a Chicago native, Laube has performed in many of the world’s great halls, among them the Berlin Philharmonie, London’s Royal Festival Hall, and Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. He serves on the organ faculty of the Eastman School of Music, and his playing is prized for pairing brilliant technique with an uncommon gift for making the organ sing. A longtime friend of Opus 327, he returns to his home region to take up an instrument from the golden age of American organ building, lovingly preserved and singing as Skinner intended.
