I have three practice spaces:
At church, I practice on a 1940 Austin that Elizabeth Naegele purchased for Carter-Westminster Presbyterian Church shortly before she left CW to pursue her Doctorate at Northwestern. I was able to bring the installation and enlargement to 23 ranks to fruition with Jim Gruber in 1983-‘84.
At home, I practice on our heavenly Steinway A we bought in 2007, that is when I can nudge my husband or son off the bench. For those days when I need tranquility, I practice on our Kurzweil with headphones.
