Organ Recital Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Roderer Pipe Organ

Trinity Lutheran Church, Evanston invites you to an organ recital celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Roderer pipe organ, dedicated on December 6, 1971. Beau Surratt, Trinity’s Director of Worship and Music, will offer an Advent and Christmas-themed program featuring composers J.S. Bach, Jean Langlais, Joel Martinson, and others. We look forward to having the builder of Trinity’s organ, Kurt Roderer, and his wife Kathy, with us to celebrate. The timing of this recital will allow an opportunity for music lovers to attend other local events such as the Advent Lessons and Carols at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Evanston, at 4pm in the afternoon.
