Please join us for the second chapter event of our 2026-27 season, a Halloween Family Concert at Winnetka Covenant Church on Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. Although this concert will have something for everyone, it will be especially fun for children and families. More information is available at https://northshoreago.org/event/halloween-family-concert/
I hope we may be inspired to create similar events for children and families at the churches where we work. The Boston Chapter AGO presents Halloween-themed organ programs each year with great success. I am grateful to NSAGO members Dominic Doutney, Mary Beth Molenaar, and Nick Renkosik who will be performing in the concert and our NSAGO Secretary Bridget de la Peña who has assisted with organizing.
You also might enjoy knowing that Mary Beth Molenaar, our lead organizer for this event, created the organ-pipes-and-dragon artwork for our publicity. Mary Beth minored in art as an undergrad. After stepping back from her admin job at NU, she has been taking art classes. In addition to drawing and watercolors she has started weaving again. She created our Halloween Family Concert artwork on the Sketchbook app. Thanks, Mary Beth!
