NSAGO Dean Andrea Handley

Andrea Handley

No pithy thoughts this month!  I just want to draw your attention to numerous news items:

Chapter members had a gratifying and informative time together on Sunday tackling one of the issues of our profession – relationships between clergy and church musicians.  Read about it in Royce Eckhardt’s reflection in the “Reviews of Past Events” section!

Please join us on April 26 for a recital presented by Yun Kyong Kim at St. Ita’s, a program we’re co-sponsoring with the Chicago AGO chapter.  See more detail on the recitalist and the program in the “Upcoming NSAGO Events” section.

Look next month for our slate of officers for the upcoming elections.  The nominating committee has been busy at work deciding on candidates that would make good officers and board members for our chapter.  If you have candidates you’d like to recommend, please email Christine Kraemer at christinekraemer@sbcglobal.net.

And lastly, if you haven’t already done so so, please consider attending the regional convention in Indianapolis in July – more detail to be found in the “Other News” section of this newsletter.

Enjoy the news in this newsletter edition, and please join us for our upcoming programs!
