North Shore members play Bach for WFMT!

Millar03Cheer for your fellow chapter members on Friday evening, October 24 at Alice Millar Chapel in Evanston.  North Shore Chapter members are welcome for no admission charge to WFMT’s Bach Organ Project Concert No. 9.  Tickets for the general public are $25, students $15.  All are invited to a reception following in the narthex.

The Chorale Prelude Project mini-recital, played by Eric Budzynski, William Crowle, and Philip McPeek, and Stephen Uhl, begins at 7:10 PM.  The concert, featuring James Brown, Eric Budzynski, William Crowle, Mary Gifford, Merlin Lehman, Robert McConnell, Kevin McKelvie, Derek Nickels, and Jay Peterson, begins at 7:30 PM.

Repertoire includes selected chorale preludes, Prelude and Fugue in G Major BWV 550, Fantasia in C Major BWV 570, Concerto in G Major BWV 592, Prelude and Fugue in f minor BWV 534, Prelude and Fugue in A Major BWV 536, Prelude and Fugue in c minor BWV 546, Prelude and Fugue in a minor BWV 551, Allabreve in D Major BWV 589.

Alice Millar Chapel is located at 1870 Sheridan Road in Evanston.  There is a public parking garage one block south, at the corner of Chicago Avenue and Church Street.
