Updates from the Sub-Dean | October 2022

Things are shaping up for our 2022-2023 Season.  We have a pretty full calendar to carry us through the end of this year.  It’s nice to be looking at a fully in-person season of events this year.  We hope that you’ll be able to join us.

September 30 and October 2

We’re excited to co-host with the Chicago Chapter a pair of concerts by Scott Dettra featuring the complete works of César Franck. These are being held September 30th at 7:00pm at Glenview Community Church, Glenview and on Sunday October 2nd at 4:00pm St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Evanston.

October 23

2003 Convention preview.  We’re in for a little preview of just a few of the spaces that will be part of the 2003 Regional Convention hosted by the North Shore Chapter. We will travel by bus from Trinity United Methodist in Wilmette to Faith Hope and Charity Parish, to Winnetka Congregational where we will be treated to a taste of what’s to come next year.  There is a small reception scheduled at Winnteka Congregational at the conclusion of the event. Watch your mail box for more details!

November 19

Co-hosted with the Organ Historical Society, an organ tour of the Glencoe area!  The tour will take place from 10:00am until 2:00pm.  The approximate schedule will be as such:

10:00am St. Elisabeth’s Episcopal Church

11:00am Glencoe Union Church

12:00pm Lunch on your own

1:00pm North Shore United Methodist Church

  2:00pm Sacred Heart/Divine Mercy Parish

January 6

We hope you’ll be able to join us for the Annual Epiphany party (on The Feast of the Epiphany this year!). Andrea Handley will host us in her festively decorated home and treat us to a fantastic meal, while we share in post-season fellowship!

Looking forward to seeing you!
