Isabella Wu

(Isza – pronounced like ICE cream) Isabella (Isza) Wu is a pianist and organist who hails from Madison, Wisconsin. She is currently in her fourth year at Northwestern University, where she studies Piano Performance and Communication Studies, while also pursuing an ad hoc major in Sacred Music and a minor in Music Education. Isza is an active performer and collaborator in the Chicago area and currently sings with the Alice Millar Chapel Choir. This past summer, she served as Music Intern at First United Methodist Church of Evanston. In her free time, Isza enjoys dabbling in electronic music and spending time outdoors. 


Brian Schoettler, Publicity Chair

Brian Schoettler serves as Minister of Music & Organist at First United Methodist Church in Evanston and is also an organ faculty member at the Music Institute of Chicago. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music and previously attended Westminster Choir College and Carthage College. Brian has also attended summer composition programs at Yale and the Schola Cantorum and his works have been premiered throughout the United States.


Rich Spantikow, Membership/Registrar      

Rich Spantikow is the Minister of Music at St. David’s, a position he’s held since 2017. He directs the parish’s three choirs and also serves as organist. Prior to St. David’s, Rich has served churches in Streamwood, Arlington Heights, Western Springs, West Dundee Elgin and Evanston. He has also performed recitals around the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Rich has also served as registrar/membership coordinator of the Northwest Suburban Chapter until they merged with the Fox Valley chapter. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his dog, reading, trying to stay active and live healthy.
