We had a delightful time Sept. 21 as we gathered at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Glenview for our opening event of the season. Delicious food and drink were provided (for c. 20 people,) and we played a fun “Name that tune” game.
Thanks go to Lois-Eve Anderson for assisting me with the shopping “leg-work” and decorating. Thanks to Julie and Justin Brueck for hosting and helping with set-up. Christine Kraemer planned the event and assisted Laurie Stivers in contriving the listening game.
There is a wonderful schedule of events planned for this year, as usual. Stay informed of upcoming events – both within the chapter and without – and plan to attend. Perhaps, like I did yesterday, you will be surprised by connecting with an old friend through AGO.
