From John Mackey:
I have returned from a Chicago Chapter AGO event in Wheaton. The picture is of the new 2021 Taylor and Boody organ in the new Armerding Concert Hall at Wheaton College. The organ is designed after the 18th century German Baroque organs which would have been played by Bach and his contemporaries. Here is a picture of the case. It is in the front gallery of the concert hall and accessible only by very narrow and steep stair way. You need to walk backwards to get down the stairs. 18 of us heard and played this organ. It is the newest organ I have ever played.
We later went to Edman Chapel to hear and play the 2001 Casavant organ. A really terrific and productive day.
