The 2022-2023 North Shore AGO Board met for the first time on Sunday August 21st, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Evanston with host James Janssen, Organist/Director of the Church. This was a very good and productive meeting with a full Agenda of various items to discuss. The program year of Chapter events appears to be quite busy year with unique programs leading up to the Regional Convention during the last week of 2023!
All Chapter members should be aware of the various responsibilities of the current Board members, especially those who serve in the three-year terms:
Evan Duvall – Membership
Brian Schoettler – Publicity
Chris Urban – Social
James Janssen – Scholarship
Pat Radosavljevic – Someone You Should Know
The Archivist/Historian position still needs to be chosen, so if you have desire to serve in this capacity/function please let me know!
Very recently Brigid DeLaPena (elected as Secretary for the Chapter) resigned from this position. At the Board meeting of August 21st, James Janossy was elected as Chapter Secretary by a unanimous vote! We welcome James Janossy to the Board. James is the organist at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii in the Little Italy section of Chicago!
